Full House for 8th Lighting and Media Technology Seminar
Four event days, more than 200 participants, and plenty of information and innovation
Once again, the demand for places at the 8th Lighting and Media Technology for Exhibitions and Events seminar, which, like last time, LK-AG hosted in conjunction with JMT Mietmöbel, refused to slacken. Instead, quite the opposite was the case. Even though the event had already been extended to four days, there were still plenty of applicants who failed to acquire one of the hotly contested places. However, those who were quick enough to register, were each able to attend a seminar day on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th December 2009, which could scarcely have gone better – and this was not just because members of the company’s Management Board once more delivered lectures themselves.
Tom Koperek began each day with a very visual presentation on the fundamentals of lighting technology. During the first part, he either explained or simply went over the basics of the subject, depending on the knowledge of the current audience. After a substantial breakfast in the comfortable JMT lounge, the guests attended the second part of the programme, which was run by Holger Steffentoweihen. His own personal fascination with innovative forms of technology in the LED and Digital Lighting sector was obvious, and by the end of his presentation he had clearly managed to transmit this enthusiasm to his audience in Essen too. The company’s own technology brand, “Imagineering by LK-AG“, was once again in the spotlight and the centre of attention.
After Mr Steffentorweihen had finally finished answering questions from the attentive guests, he invited them to join him for a meal in the JMT lounge again. This too was far from boring. After all, they all wanted to try out the latest chair models, do as well as possible in the games which had been organised, and most of all, engage in a lively exchange of information with industry colleagues.
Incidentally, others who are interested will also be given the opportunity to experience all this in June this year, as this when partner companies LK and JMT have scheduled the 9th seminar series for. There are 50 places available for each event day, but the exact number of days has not yet been finalised. Anyone who wishes to attend should therefore send an email to info@lk-ag.com as soon as possible.
