URBANATIX - the Show
LK-AG is the main sponsor of the stand-out cultural project of Bochum RUHR.2010
The audience in the Bochum Jahrhunderthalle can look forward to an absolutely stunning event when street art meets world artists on the Whitsun weekend. Between the 21st and 23rd of May, the best of the North Rhine-Westphalia street art scene – including performers from the worlds of parkour, free running, tricking, break dancing, and biking – will combine with world-class artists from Japan, Canada, France, and Germany to produce a show that is the only one of its kind in the world.
When director and creator Christian Eggert (DACAPO, Bochum) explained the project to us, we were sure straight away that we absolutely wanted to support URBANATIX. Even the “how” was immediately obvious: with our “Imagineering by LK-AG” technology, we would take care of a spectacular staging. We don’t want to give away too much at this point, but halfpipes and cubes, for example, are virtually begging to be utilised in a fantastical world of images…
